In Singapore, Accredited Investor status is generally valid for 12 months. We conduct an annual review to reconfirm your eligibility. You may be required to submit updated documents, particularly if your status was based on income or financial assets that may fluctuate. If your financial circumstances change, your status may not be renewed.

For individuals

• Meet at least one of the following criteria:
• Net personal assets exceeding S$2 million
• Financial assets (net of liabilities) exceeding S$1 million
• Income of at least S$300,000 in the past 12 months

For corporates

• Meet at least one of the following criteria:
• Company net assets: The company must have net assets exceeding S$10 million, as verified by:
• The most recent audited balance sheet, or
• A certified balance sheet dated within the past 12 months.

OR

Accredited Investor shareholders: If the company does not meet the net asset requirement, its entire shareholding must be owned by individuals who are Accredited Investors or by entities that are themselves Accredited Investors.

Foreign residents can become Accredited Investors as long as they fulfill the Accredited Investor criteria listed above.
