What is Hyperliquid (HYPE)?

HYPE is the native utility token of Hyperliquid, a decentralised exchange specialising in perpetual futures and advanced crypto derivatives. The token underpins key functions on the platform, from reducing transaction costs to supporting user incentives and participation.

Hyperliquid provides gas-free trading for most transactions on its native Layer-1 blockchain, keeping costs low with minimal maker/taker fees. However, bridging assets or interacting with HyperEVM may involve gas fees due to external network requirements.

Beyond its technical role, HYPE acts as an incentive mechanism across the ecosystem. Users may receive discounts, trading rewards, or other benefits by staking or engaging with the token, helping to drive both platform activity and community growth.

The charts above display the price of Hyperliquid (HYPE) in Singapore Dollars (SGD).

Understanding the Hyperliquid price chart requires analysing key visual elements. Candlesticks represent price movement within a specific timeframe between opening and closing prices. You can select the range of each candle, for example, 1 hour, 4 hours, 1 day, 1 week, etc.

Green candles signify a rise in the price of Token, while red candles indicate a decline in price. The length of the candle depicts the highest and lowest prices reached during the selected period.

No commingling of customer funds: we keep client assets completely separate from our own.

1:1 reserves

We maintain a full 1:1 reserve of all client fiat and digital assets.

We hold the vast majority of digital assets in secure offline cold storage protected in underground vaults with maximum security.

Audited and licensed

We are the first crypto exchange to be licensed by MAS.

Our books are balanced and we carry no debt on our balance sheet. We engage external auditors to verify our holdings with annual audits of our financial statements. This includes verification of all fiat and crypto balances held in custody on behalf of clients.

Segregated funds

We do not commingle customer funds. We maintain complete segregation of all client assets to ensure that when you need to make a withdrawal, you can.

We keep your assets safe. That is our promise.

Single purpose asset utilisation
