What is Aussie Dollar Token (AUDX)?
AUDX is an AUD-pegged stablecoin issued by TAU Pty Ltd, trading as AUDX Token. The issuer states that each AUDX is intended to be maintained at a 1:1 ratio with AUD, with reserves held in a designated trust account under section 981A of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) to support fiat redemption. Reserves are held in cash, Australian bank deposits, Australian Treasury notes and other high-quality AUD-denominated assets, and are independently audited each month. AUDX is an ERC-20 token available on Ethereum and Polygon.
