1. From the Independent Reserve homepage, click on the Create Account button in the top navigation bar.
  2. Enter a unique username, your email address, and a strong password. Then, select the Trust icon underneath the Account type.
  3. Ensure you agree to the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy, and check the box that confirms you have read and agreed to Independent Reserve’s Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. Click Next.
  4. Enter the confirmation code sent to your email address to confirm your account, and then click Next.
  5. On the identity verification page, click Continue.
  6. Select your country of residence and fill in your name, date of birth and address details. Click Next to continue.
  7. Enter your mobile number and click Send Code.
  8. Enter the verification code received via SMS and click Verify.
  9. Optional: Download Google Authenticator to your mobile or tablet, then scan the QR or type in the alphanumeric code manually to set up Google Authenticator for Independent Reserve.  Enter the verification code from Google Authenticator and click Enable
  10. Click on Verify Identity.
  11. Select the purpose of your account and your source of income from the drop-down menus. Click Next to continue.
  12. Take a photo of yourself holding a Government-issued photo ID such as a passport or driver licence.  Upload this photo and click Next.

  13. Take a photo of both sides of this photo ID.
    1. Upload the photo of the front of your ID and click Next.
    2. Upload the photo of the back of your ID and click Next.
  14. Upload a photo or scanned copy of a supporting document that displays your address (e.g. bank statement, utility bill etc) and click Next.
  15. Select the country that your trust account was set up in from the drop-down menu. 
  16. Enter your trust’s official name, the Australian Business Number (ABN) and Australian Company Number (ACN) associated with your trust. Click Next to continue.

  17. Upload the cover, schedule and signature page of your trust deed. Click Next to continue.
  18. Select either “Individual” or “Corporate” as a fund trustee.
  19. Enter the fund trustee details, including an upload of the trustee’s photo ID. Click Next to continue.
  20. Add any additional trustees and then click Next.
  21. Confirm all the details are correct, check the confirmation box and click Next.
  22. Congratulations!  Your account is created and awaiting verification.
